If you have ever been in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, you know that to stay warm and comfortable, you need to stay dry. Whether you are hiking to your next line or mashing high speed turns through heavy snow, it is priority number one to stay dry inside. In order to stay dry it’s just as important to keep the elements OUT as it is to let body heat and moisture OUT . We address this issue by using the revolutionary 37.5 Technology throughout our Baker Series line of apparel, inspired by some of the heaviest, most dense snowfall on earth.
37.5 Technology is made up of millions of microscopic particles, embedded directly into the fabric, that capture and release moisture. Unlike basic moisture-wicking technologies that simply spread moisture, 37.5 Technology’s activated particles respond to body heat, accelerating the conversion of liquid to vapor and accelerate evaporation.
To accelerate evaporation, other moisture-wicking fabrics require air flow, while 37.5 Technology does not, making it ideal for riding. It allows a rider to be completely sealed from the elements, while still being able to reap the benefits of having the body’s heat and moisture regulated to maintain absolute comfort.
37.5 Technology is also ideal for snow sports because it was developed as a layering system. When additional layers of 37.5 Technology are added to create a multi-layering system, it EXPONENTIALLY increases the overall effectiveness and evaporation process.
37.5 Technology’s activated particles are permanently embedded into the fabric and will remain active after every wash, unlike other chemical treatments that eventually wash away. 37.5 Technology has built in anti-odor properties and comes from naturally derived materials.
Cocona IS 37.5 Technology. They decided to rebrand themselves and merely just changed their name, not their technology.
Our entire Baker Series features 37.5 Technology.
